Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Verilune ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use Memonium, our on-device voice memo transcription application for iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS (Apple Watch companion).

Data Collection

Memonium is designed to process your voice memos on your device. Verilune does not operate a Memonium backend that stores your audio or transcripts.

What is processed on your device:

  • Audio recordings you create or import
  • Transcripts, titles, summaries, tags, and action items generated from your memos
  • App settings such as language preference and optional app lock

What we do not collect or use:

  • Google AdMob or any third-party advertising SDK
  • Advertising IDs for ads
  • Verilune analytics SDKs
  • User accounts
  • Server-side storage of your audio or transcripts by Verilune
  • Location data for advertising

If you contact us for support by email, we retain the content of that message so we can respond.

Local Data Storage

Memonium stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Memos, audio files, transcripts, summaries, and tags
  • App preferences and language settings
  • Optional Face ID / app lock preference
  • In-app purchase entitlement status for Unlimited Memos (managed with Apple)

This content remains on your device. It may be included in your personal device backups (such as iCloud Backup) if you enable system backups — Verilune does not operate a Memonium cloud for your memo content.

Third-Party Services

Memonium does not use Google AdMob or any third-party advertising network. Monetization is a one-time Apple In-App Purchase (Unlimited Memos) only.

The app uses Apple system services, including:

  • On-device Speech: Apple speech models may download once per language to enable transcription
  • StoreKit: Processes the Unlimited Memos purchase and restore
  • Local Authentication: Optional Face ID / device passcode for app lock
  • WatchConnectivity: Transfers Watch recordings to your iPhone or iPad for processing

App Store and Apple Services

When you download Memonium from the App Store or purchase Unlimited Memos, Apple may collect certain information as described in Apple’s Privacy Policy. Verilune may learn whether you have purchased or restored Unlimited Memos entitlement status. We do not receive your payment card details.

Consistent with App Store Privacy labels for Memonium: Audio Data is used for app functionality (not linked, not used for tracking); Purchase History may be used for Unlimited Memos. There is no advertising data collected by Memonium for ads.

Data Security

Because memo audio and transcripts are processed and stored on your device, they remain under your device’s security controls. Optional Face ID / app lock can add an extra layer when opening the app. Keep your device software up to date and use a passcode or biometric lock.

Children's Privacy

Memonium does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require an account and does not send memo content to Verilune servers. Parents who believe a child has contacted us by email may request deletion of that correspondence at support@verilune.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
